Dear Fellow Students,

A warm welcome to new students for joining the College, and greetings to other Gratians who return to the campus after the summer break!

This year, we are pleased to embrace a new beginning with the addition of our Mei Foo Campus.  The new Mei Foo Campus not only expands the space beyond our existing Shek Kip Mei Campus, but also enhances our teaching capacity and facilities, and most importantly, promotes active student engagement.  We are excited to see how this new campus will involve and excite all of you.  Praise the Lord for His provision.

The new academic year 2025/26 also marks the 10th Anniversary of Gratia Christian College, a significant milestone in our history.  A series of events accompanied with various promotional activities will be rolled out to celebrate this momentous occasion, inviting all of you to be part of our rich history.

With the new Mei Foo Campus and the 10th Anniversary as our backdrop, we are elated to announce the theme for this year's College Assemblies: ‘New Horizon in Gratia’.  These assemblies, held in the Lecture Hall of the Mei Foo Campus, will continue to feature inspiring guest speakers who will share their insights, sparking inspiration in each of you.  We look forward to your active participation in these assemblies.

To get the most from study and achieve effective learning at the College, all students are advised to monitor their progress of study from the student portal.  Check out your study plan to ensure that your efforts are on the right track and to make the necessary adjustments at an appropriate time.  You should also familiarize yourself with Moodle and master the skills you need to study.  Contact the Registry and ITSO for support if in need.  “Things to do” also include checking your College emails and the notice boards to keep updated on important information and available student resources.

As a member of the College community, particularly as a freshman, don’t hesitate to seek help and advice when encountering problems in your study or personal life.  Your course lecturer, mentor, programme director, and school head will provide you the guidance and share their wisdom with you.  You may also seek counselling services and assistance when in need.

Lastly, you may be interested to know that the College Updates from Management was launched in May 2019.  Through this message, issued every quarter, we are committed to keeping you informed and connected with the latest happenings at the College.  This is our way of ensuring that you always feel valued and included in the Gratian family.

With best wishes,

College Management
