Dear Fellow Students,
Updates to Students from the College Management
With the lifting of most anti-epidemic measures by the Government earlier, our daily life has been steadily returning to normality. We are grateful that all teaching and learning activities have been running smoothly as scheduled, and the 2nd semester is halfway through already.
We hope you have been heartily enjoying your college life again. Positive feedback has been received on the variety of student activities organized this year. Whether you are looking for recreation, leisure, development or service learning, there are options to suit your needs. Besides, two College Assemblies have been held since the last issue of College Updates. In the January Assembly, we had students of the Higher Diploma in Social Work Programme sharing their “College Life in GCC”. In the February one, guest speaker, Prof Anthony H Y Wan, delivered an inspiring talk on the topic of “有學無類”.
We have several months to go before the completion of this academic year. As a gentle reminder, may graduating students take note of the timeline to complete the required community service hours to meet the graduation exit requirement. Check out the service opportunities relayed to you. Find time to fulfil the service requirement and lend a helping hand to the community.
After the renovation work during the Christmas holiday, Room G02 is now used for lectures, and the ITSO has been relocated to Room 306. Ongoing enhancement will be made to improve the teaching and learning facilities.
Despite the scrapping of the Covid mask rule, we wish to call for your vigilance and continued effort to keep the campus safe!
With best wishes,
College Management
