If you find yourself unable to attend an examination due to circumstances outlined in the Student Handbook (5.9 Make-up Examinations/Assessments), you must provide the necessary documentation to support your case of absence.
Your case of absence will be discussed in the Academic Board. If the cause of absence is not accepted or no supporting documents were provided by you, a fail grade will be awarded. However, an opportunity of make-up examination (reassessment without cap on result) may be granted if your absence is regarded as legitimate with enough supporting documents. In general make-up examination will be arranged within the specified make-up/supplementary examination period. You will be notified accordingly.
To facilitate the decision process, please ensure that you provide the necessary documentation based on your specific situation. You must send in the relevant supporting documents to the Registry (registry@gratia.edu.hk) within one week after the date of examination or the date of Academic Board meeting (whichever is sooner).
