Let’s Keep Our Campus Healthy and Smoke-Free

Dear Students,

We kindly ask everyone to refrain from smoking in or near campus buildings. This is not just about rules—it’s about caring for the health and well-being of yourself and those around you. It’s no secret that smoking poses serious risks to both smokers and non-smokers, and we want our campus to be a safe and healthy environment for all.

If you are a smoker, we demand you to avoid smoking while on campus. Your cooperation not only shows respect for others but also helps foster a sense of mutual consideration and community among students. Beyond just where you can or can’t smoke, this is also an opportunity to reflect on your choices and how they impact your health and education. Also, there is a primary school and secondary school beside our campus. It is a selfish act to smoke near them.

Recently, we’ve received reports of smoking near campus, and we’ll be keeping an eye on the situation. If necessary, we may need to involve authorities to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort.

Let’s work together to create a campus environment that prioritizes health, respect, and consideration for one another. Thank you for helping us make this possible!

Stay considerate, stay healthy, and let’s take care of each other.

Regards,

Dr Terry NG
