Dear Students,

The Student Development Office (SDO) would like to remind you of the importance of attending College Assemblies, which are held on the first Monday morning of each month in the College Hall.

The College Assembly serves the important purposes of sharing the vision of the College among all staff and students, cultivating a spirit of oneness in Christ, widening the horizons of students and enhancing students’ development in servant leadership.

College Assemblies are held on Monday mornings in the College Hall. Students are required to attend the College Assemblies and students who are late for more than 15 minutes would be counted as absent. An attendance rate of less than 80% would result in a remark of ‘Attendance Requirement of College Assemblies Not Fulfilled’ putting on the transcript upon graduation.

Please tap your student card at the entrance. Besides, when you leave the hall after the Assembly, please tap your student card again to confirm your full participation.           

Please note that some of the cases below could not be counted as "Present"

1) You didn't tap your student card at all, and no names were written down on the paper provided at the entrance;

2) You tapped your student card after 12:15 pm (lateness would be marked as absent);

3) You tapped your student card once only after 12:45 pm (It would be counted as "absent" as well). 

We encourage you to attend these assemblies and take advantage of the valuable opportunities they offer. Your presence and participation are greatly appreciated.
