In the past default settings, a email notification will be sent for each post made in any forum, such as the "GCC Moodle News". It was noticed that the default setting was changed, in the recent update of Moodle, to have such email notifications sent in a daily digest. As a result, some of you may mistakenly think that you were not notified with some of the forum posting. In fact, all email notifications were sent to you in a single email.
If you want to have email notification individually for each of the forum post, you may change the "Email digest type" in the "Forum preferences". Here are the steps:
Step 1: After login to Moodle, click the down triangle next to your login name and select "Preference":
Step 2: Then, click "Forum preferences":
Step 3: Select "No digest (single email per forum post)" for "Email digest type":
Final step: Click [Save changes] button to save the changed settings.
That's it!
