[This message is intended to send to those New Full Time Bachelor Students enrolled in AY2024/2025]
Dear new students,
Welcome to join our College.
Local students who are enrolling in full time Bachelor programmes at Gratia Christian College are eligible to be subsidised by the Government if they meet the basic criteria of the NMTSS subsidy scheme.
a) Local students with Hong Kong permanent residence status
b) Students who do not possess a degree at the Bachelor’s level or above.
The annual subsidy amount for AY2024/2025 is HK$34,390.
During your student registration process, your first semester tuition fee amount has been deducted by 50% of the subsidy or HK$17,195.
To complete the NMTSS subsidy application procedure, please submit the completed application form with copy of academic qualification and HKID card copy to the Finance Office in person by 30 September 2024.
Late submission will not be processed. Softcopy of the form will not be handled.

Normally, just one application is required throughout your studies. Once your application is approved, subsidy is tenable for the remaining duration of your studies within the normative study period, unless you change your programme.
If students did not submit on time and your 1st
semester 2024/25 tuition fee debit note had been deducted by the subsidy
amount, the Finance Office will recover in their 2nd semester 2024/25 tuition
fee debit note.
Despite the fact that the subsidy is normally
deducted from the tuition fees in advance, your eligibility for the subsidy is
subject to fulfillment of eligibility conditions, and also the final decision
of EDB. If you are eventually deemed ineligible for the subsidy, you will be
required to settle the outstanding balance of tuition fees being the deducted
subsidy amount.
