Dear Bachelor of Social Work students,
Good afternoon.
Please be well informed that, from the upcoming semester AY2023-24S1 onwards, the Registry will process Course Add/Drop applications for compulsory courses (non-elective) for BSW students ONLY with advice from the School of Social Work.
Those Bachelor of Social Work students (regardless of mode of study) who wish to change their study plan by adding/dropping compulsory courses, for whatever reason, will need to fill out a Request for Change of Study Plan Application with the School of Social Work IN ADDITION to the Course Add/Drop applications:
Request for Change of Study Plan
The information for the application is on the website and on the form. The form has 2 parts, which are both compulsory.
To simplify: BSW students need to seek permission from the School of Social Work using the Request for Change of Study Plan application for any changes to compulsory courses. Once they have permission from the School, then the Registry will process the Course Add/Drop forms for those students permitted to change.
Thank you for your kind attention.
Note well: This policy is not applicable to non-BSW students.
Kindly please get in touch with me or Dr. Helen Ho if you have any questions.
Best regards,
Moses Chen
