Dear Students,

 

The Development and Communication Office (DCO) is recruiting energetic students who have a strong sense of belonging to serve as student helpers in the following events. Should you be interested to help, please take immediate action. Don't miss the chance for self-development and to serve the college.  

 

Guidelines for Application:

1. Please login with your College EID before filling out the application form.

2. Applicants would be notified with their application results via email.

3. Successful applicants are required to attend a short briefing session before the event.

4. Selection will be made on a first-come first-served basis in case of many applications.

 

Application Deadline: 5:00 pm, 6 July 2023 (Thursday)


 

 

1) Consultation booth at Tsung Tsin College (崇真書院)

Date:     10 July 2023 (Monday)

Time:     10:45 am – 1:15 pm

Venue: Tsung Tsin College, 9 Leung Choi Ln, Tuen Mun

 

Service Details:

Duties: 

Venue setup, promoting GCC programmes and events to students and visitors, handling visitors' enquiries, move-out support, etc.

 

Hourly Rate: $50

 

Number of student helpers needed: 1

2) Consultation booth at Christian Alliance Cheng Wing Gee College (香港九龍塘基督教中華宣道會鄭榮之中學)

Date:     19 July 2023 (Wednesday) [HKDSE Results Release Day]

Time:     08:30 am – 12:00 nn*

Venue: Christian Alliance Cheng Wing Gee College, 12-14 Chik Wan Street, Tai Wai, Sha Tin, N.T.

 

Service Details:

Duties: 

Venue setup, promoting GCC programmes and events to students and visitors, handling visitors' enquiries, assisting applicants on admission applications, move-out support, etc.

 

Hourly Rate: $50

 

Number of student helpers needed: 1

 

*Remarks: The service hours might be adjusted depending on the actual situation on the event day

3) In-house Service: Lettershop service (for Year 1 students of degree programmes)

 

Date: 11/12/13 July 2023 (Tuesday – Thursday)

Time: AM session (10:30 am – 1:00 pm) and/or PM session (2:00 pm – 5:30 pm)

Venue: Gratia Christian College

Remarks:

 

Please choose the AM and/or PM sessions first to show your availability. We will contact you for the exact time that you can help after submitting the Google form. It can be adjusted if needed. 

 

 

 

Service Details:

 

Duties:  Lettershop service

 

Your service hours will be recognized as in-house service hours according to the actual hours spent on the service.

 

Number of student helpers needed: 1-2

 

Remarks:

·         If you are not a Year 1 student of degree programme but are interested in offering your help as a volunteer, you are also welcome to contact us for arrangements.
