Caritas Youth and Community Service have been commissioned by Education Bureau to implement providing services for community activities for Parents of Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students in Kindergartens, Primary and Secondary schools (2022/23) School Year.
It aims to help NCS parents understand the importance of Chinese learning; be aware of multiple pathways for their children; strengthen home-school communication so as to support their children's learning. It also helps our ethnic minority community know more about the education system in Hong Kong.
Volunteering benefits the volunteers to improve their presentation, time management, and organization skills. The events are conducted in English. The duties of voluntary work are assisting with the events below:

logistic and venue set up
activity facilitation
interpretation (in Urdu, Hidi, Nepali, etc.)

明愛青少年和社區服務部受教育局委託，為幼稚園、小學及中學 (2022/23) 學年的非華語學生家長提供社區活動服務，幫助非華語家長了解學習中文的重要性、了解孩子的多種途徑、加強家校溝通和支持孩子的學習。其服務目標旨在幫助少數族裔社群進一步了解香港的教育制度。
同學透過參與義工服務亦受裨益；藉以提高大家的演講、時間管理和組織能力。活動以英語進行。義工的職責是協助以下活動：
