Dear All,
One of our BSW students is somehow connected to the Covid19 case in Shatin Lek Yuen Estate (祿泉樓). He has been placed in house quarantine and being tested for Covid19. Since the student has attended an evening class on Monday (1 June 2020), necessary steps should be taken to safeguard the health of our students and staff.
After consulting with the School of Social Work, it has been decided to fall back to remote teaching for all BSW courses. Please refer to the Moodle course page for Zoom lecture ID. ECE micro-teaching (practicum) classes will be conducted on-campus with special hygiene control measures. The special arrangement shall be effective immediately. All students have been notified. All supporting units will standby until 7:30pm as usual.
Students who are going to attend on-campus classes please observe the followings to maintain good personal hygiene:
- Ware a surgical mask while in the class
- Avoid touching your eyes, mouth and nose
- Keep hands clean at all times. Washing your hands frequently.
- Maintain good indoor ventilation.
